This Cookie Policy explains how GENO uses cookies and similar technologies. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device. Cookies can be "essential" (needed for the site to work) or "non-essential" (used for things like analytics or advertising).
The cookies we use
GENO uses a single, strictly necessary cookie:

This cookie is set when you sign in or register, is removed when you sign out, and is protected (it is HttpOnly, Secure, and SameSite-restricted). Because it is strictly necessary to provide the service you have asked for, it does not require consent.
What we do NOT use
We want to be clear about what we do not do:
- We do not use analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics).
- We do not use advertising or marketing cookies or tracking pixels.
- We do not use profiling, behavioural-tracking, A/B-testing, or session-replay tools.
- We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.
Third-party cookies you may encounter
When you make a payment or a Driver sets up payouts, you interact with Stripe, our payment processor, on Stripe's own secure pages. Stripe may set its own cookies as part of providing and securing the payment process. These are governed by Stripe's own cookie and privacy policies.
When you use the booking map, your browser loads mapping software from a content delivery network (such as unpkg / Cloudflare) and map tiles from OpenStreetMap. These providers may receive your IP address and, in some cases, set their own cookies, governed by their own policies.
Managing cookies
Because we only use one essential cookie, there is no tracking to opt out of. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, but disabling the essential cookie will prevent you from staying signed in.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. If we ever introduce non-essential cookies (such as analytics), we will update this Policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.
